Did Salman Khan push Mahek Chahal into Bigg Boss 5?

Model-turned-actor Mahek Chahal’s entry in Bigg Boss season 5 yet again hints at her close association with Salman Khan. Mahek apparently, had become the reason behind Salman-Katrina’s break up as she had come under his wings to seek career advice.

Also, if sources are to be believed, it was Salman who, usually doesn’t intrude in the casting, had recommended Mahek to the producer of ‘Main Aur Mrs. Khanna’ and soon she became a part of the film, which had Kareena Kapoor as the female lead. And, then there was no looking back as this leggy lasso started accompanying him on all indoor and outdoor shoots.

Mahek has been in the industry from a long time now. She was to be launched by Abaas Mustan in ‘Ajnabee’ but that role went to Bipasha Basu. Soon, she was introduced in ‘Naye Padosan’ but career came to a standstill until Salman happened to her.

But, now with her presence in Bigg Boss season 5, it is quite evident; that Mahek still remains Salman’s favourite girl. Well, she is surely playing her cards well.
