The best gift an actor can ever get is acknowledgment: Vishwajeet Pradhan

Vishwajeet Pradhan doesn't require any introduction. He started his career with small screen's popular serial 'Fauji' with SRK and received a positive response from the audience.

His journey of stardom started long time back and today, he has more than 170 movies to his credit. These days, he's more popular as SSP Brahmanand Jakhar of popular serial 'Maryada' on Star Plus, that has already given him two awards this year- 'Favourite Dushman' (Star Parivar Awards 2011 at Macau) and the 'Critic Choice Award' at the recently concluded Boroplus Gold Awards 2011, held in Mumbai.

"The best gift an actor can ever get is acknowledgment for his work," says Vishwajeet Pradhan. "The experience of playing SSP Brahmanand Jakhar, has been pretty interesting till now, with wonderful feedback from the audience, not just in India but from Canada, USA, UK, Hong Kong etc. In-fact, winning the 'Favourite Dushman Award' (Best Actor in a Negative Role) at Star Parivaar Awards  was a big boost," adds Pradhan.

Though, commitment to a daily soap has taken a toll on films lately, but after the recently released 'Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap', he'll be seen in action on big screen yet again in, 'Chatur Singh 2 Star', a comedy shot in South Africa with Sanjay Dutt. His crossover film called 'Hariya' based on the life of 'doms' (who help in lighting the funeral pyre) is touring Film Festivals across the world and a few of his flicks arein the pipeline.
